Abstract

Objectives: Analyze the use of the Information System as a tool for supply chain planning and control in a public hospital in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Methods: The research was conducted through the Case Study. The method of approach is a qualitative research and about the purpose classified the research as descriptive. Results: As a result, it was observed that the use of information systems is critical for the hospital supply chain planning and control. Conclusion: This study concluded that the logistics system of the studied hospital works well and is important to have an appropriate information system to control the information and the material flow.
